To date, The Megobari Project has distributed 583 items to refugees in Kutaisi, Khashuri, Borjomi and areas around Gori. Items have been donated from the UK, America and Georgia and include winter weather gear and school supplies.
The Megobari Project Throughout their time as Peace Corps Volunteers, Megobari Project members developed strong relationships with the Georgian people and the country. After the recent conflict, they wanted to give back. The Megobari Project raises funds and collects donations for those who have been impacted by the recent conflict in Georgia.
The Megobari Foundation Based in the US, The Megobari Foundation is currently a nonprofit corporation working on achieving its 501(c)3 status. All donations made to The Megobari Foundation will be retroactively tax deductible.

Where will the donations go?
Donations to The Megobari Project partners will be used to various different areas ranging from buying shoes and university materials to funding educational scholarships.
You have the option to earmark funds for a particular partner organizations and no donations will go to overhead costs.
